Mixed Herbs

A kitchen essential that works in stews, casseroles, shepherds’ pie, bolognaise, omelettes, grilled fish, in dips and with oil in dressings, with butter on boiled potatoes... Mixed herbs have so many uses!

For a quick and delicious snack melt some butter in a pan, add a pinch of salt, crack of pepper, a couple of cloves of garlic and a big shot of Mixed Herbs, throw in a load of button mushrooms and fry until cooked.  Serve smothered on toast or as a side with steak and chips.  You're welcome!
