Minced Garlic is a useful addition to the kitchen cupboard, even for those who keep fresh in supply. Try sprinkling on potatoes with some rosemary and a little black pepper, or atop flat breads with rosemary and olive oil, or with melted butter to make garlic bread or in a wide range of savoury dishes.
Substitute dry for fresh at a rate of ¼ teaspoon to one clove.
