This rub is packed with sweet, savoury, smoky flavour with a little heat; perfect for pulled pork and amazing BBQ ribs. Rub the meat with a little olive oil, evenly coat with blend, refrigerate overnight, slow cook on the grill.
We get asked about the name - a lot! Twenty minutes from our location on Exmoor is Combe Martin, a famous little beach surrounded by hills that were once mined for silver. The shape of the hill is known as a 'hogback', and there's the inspiration.

To Use Simply oil your pork ribs, pork loin or shoulder joint, completely cover with Combe's rub, wrap with cling film and refrigerate long enough for the flavours to infuse (overnight is ideal).
Alternatively make a paste by combining 3 Tbs of rub, 3 Tbs Olive Oil, 2 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 Tbs Honey and smother your meat. Click here for a full recipe.
