Tarragon & Paprika

This blend has to be one of the most convenient herb and spice blends to have in your kitchen cupboard.  A fresh and aromatic dry rub with a lovely savoury flavour and lightly peppery undertones that turns chicken and pork into something delicious without effort.

Try this blend on roast cauliflower, cauliflower cheese, potato wedges and meaty fish like salmon.  Delicious in a chicken pie, add it to fish cakes, put a teaspoon in rice when cooking, sprinkle on your pork chops at the end of grilling... Highly recommended for your kitchen, your family will thank you for it!


Recipe
Mix in to bread crumbs and coat strips of chicken for some delicious goujons, blend with melted butter and top a baked potato, add a teaspoon or two to chicken stock or soups.  Try it sprinkled on cheese toasties, potato wedges or over popcorn.

The seasoning for a roast!  You may not want to try all of these in the same meal but on any given Sunday you might want to add one to the plate.  Roast potatoes - about half way through cooking give your roasties a good sprinkling (resist giving them a coat as they may become too salty).  Roast vegetables - drizzle some olive oil over your veggies then shower with the blend; delicious on carrots, butternut squash and sweet potatoes.  Roast chicken - blend with butter then push between the meat and skin of your bird.

Storage
Over time the essential oils, aromatics and colour of your herbs will fade and the flavours change.  Though you may keep them for up to 2 years in cool, dark, dry conditions in an airtight container we suggest that they are typically best within 6 months of delivery. Please use by the BB4 date on your package.
